Lied Center for Performing Arts - Kennedy Center Partners of Education
I collaborated with Umohon Nation Public School, the Lied Center, and the Kennedy Center alongside poet Glenis Redmond to facilitate a creative project honoring John Mangan. Together, we guided students in crafting a chapbook of Kwanzaa-themed poems called KwanzaBas.
My role involved overseeing the visual design aspects, ensuring the chapbook reflected the students' heartfelt tributes and artistic expressions. Through this collaboration, we aimed to celebrate cultural heritage and promote literacy while honoring John Mangan's contributions to education and community.
